My transmission was acting up so I brought it in to Kern’s. They inspected and confirmed that I needed a new transmission and they found that it was still covered under warranty! So they arranged to get it to the dealer to get it fixed under warranty! I like that they just took care of it for me! :0)”

Fast, Friendly Service!
My car started overheating on Saturday. I kept it parked until Monday morning when I took it to Kern's without an appointment or calling ahead first. Everyone there is so friendly, professional, and accommodating! I got a call a little less than two hours later with a diagnosis and estimate. By 1:30 in the afternoon the car was done and ready to go. When I arrived to pick it up they had figured a way to save me $60 off the original estimate, which was a nice surprise. I told them I'd be back soon with my other vehicle to take care of its oil leak. Thank you, everyone at Kern's, for making my experience so positive!

Important Information For Women Vehicle Owners
For those of us who are responsible for maintaining our vehicle. I'm not ignorant when it comes to my 2007 Ford Edge but when it comes to the inner workings of my vehicle I have to trust the person working on my car. Kern is a Christian and runs his business in a Christian manner. Kern is always available to answer my questions. Shy runs the front desk. She's knowledgeable and like Kern, honest and forthcoming with information. Darius, the man in the garage who works on my car does an outstanding job taking care of my car. At Kern's you will NEVER have work done that is not a necessity. Yes, the company makes a profit but not by padding the bill or recommending work that's not necessary. I have worked with many Ford dealerships and not one of them provides the quality offered by Kern. So take your car/truck/SUV to Kern and rest easy that you will be well taken care of.

Outstanding customer service
I really like the rewards program. Money put aside for repairs, earns me a $20 credit each month. When I take my vehicle in for service, the bill is deducted from my accrued amount. Kerns $20 monthly gift, minus a few dollars from my accrual, equaled no payment from my wallet. The best thing, this is money I don't touch, and actually forgot about. Thanks Kern

My primary service repair shop for over 15 years!
I've been with Kern's for nearly 15 years starting shortly after moving to Puyallup in 2002. I've stayed with this shop even after moving to Kingston which is 70 miles away and includes a bridge toll because Kern and his crew do great work, he stands behind the work done on my vehicles, and he has always been honest and fair with me. In these days, one has to work hard to keep this kind of loyalty. Kern has done this and I will continue to have him service my vehicles.
